Не is the Sustainability Market Leader for the Middle East Region at Bureau Veritas where is helping clients from across the region navigate and guide them throughout their journey to net-zero. He is also the Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV) Campaigns Lead at the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions where is promoting and advocating for the ZEV Declaration launched at COP26 in Glasgow that aims to gather efforts to accelerate the transition to ZEVs by 2035 in leading markets and 2040 in emerging market. Before that he was the Managing Director of the MENA Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting clean energy and clean technologies and solutions MENA Region.

His research interest is in the intersection between policy, technology, and consumer behavior to accelerate the transition to clean energy and sustainable mobility sectors. Ahmed holds an MBA in Sustainable Mobility Management from the Technical University of Berlin.
