From 2002 to 2003 – Acting Head of the Current Revenue Office, Revenue, Convention and Contract Department, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

2003 – Head of the Analysis and Current Revenue Forecasting Department, Tax Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From 2003 to 2005 – Director of the Revenue Analysis Department, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From 2005 to 2008 – Director of a private company; Head of the Economic Group, Investment Profitability Research Agency

From 2008 to 2017 – Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From 2017 to 2019 – First Vice-Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan
From 2019 to 2021 – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan
